From quote automation to revenue infrastructure

ERP Agent launches with quote automation because that’s where operational friction is most visible. But quoting is not the product. It’s the entry point.

Wholesale distribution runs on repetitive ERP work: quotes, order entry, purchasing and supplier documents. According to our case study, a sales rep spends on average 4–7 minutes per line creating quotes and orders by hand: copying product codes from emails into the ERP, searching for the right items, looking up customer-specific pricing and building the quote line by line. The work is repetitive, error-prone and has nothing to do with selling.

ERP Agent is building the agentic layer that sits across this work.

The Quote Agent is the first module. It reads customer requests from email, PDF, Excel, Word and images, identifies the right products in the distributor’s own catalogue even from vague descriptions, brings in customer pricing and prepares a quote or sales order. A sales rep reviews it before it lands in the ERP, CRM or other system. Every line carries a match score from 0 to 100, and the agent learns from the lines the team sends.

On the supplier side, ERP Agent compares supplier order confirmations with the purchase order line by line and turns material certificates into structured data. Rather than replacing ERP systems, ERP Agent turns them into execution engines.

Enterprise software implementations often fail because they demand system replacement. ERP Agent doesn’t replace – it augments.

ERP Agent works on top of the ERP a distributor already runs, without data migration or parallel infrastructure. It integrates with Business Central, SAP, NetSuite, Visma, IFS, Sage and any other ERP or CRM, and the ERP Agent team sets up the connection for each company during onboarding, because your IT team is stretched thin enough already. Distributors can start with a catalogue file the same week.

The result is structural scalability. Distributors can handle more revenue volume without growing operational headcount at the same rate. In a sector where margins are tight and labour is scarce, operational leverage becomes the competitive advantage.

Building the agentic ERP category

While vertical SaaS solutions have optimised specific workflows, no one has built the intelligence layer across the ERP stack. ERP Agent is defining that category.

The company started in Finland and is building for the European market. ERP Agent is GDPR-compliant, and its models run with zero data retention.

The team

Lauri Pelkonen (Founder & CEO) previously led SILTA as its first CEO: San Francisco’s Finnish hacker house that brought the most promising startup founders from Finland to Silicon Valley to build their companies. Henri Heliö (Founding Chief Revenue Officer) brings years of Silicon Valley experience, most recently from a Y Combinator-backed company.
