What is ERP Agent?
ERP Agent is AI software for wholesalers, merchants and stockholders whose sales teams turn customer enquiries into quotes and sales orders by hand. It reads the request, identifies the right products in the distributor’s own catalogue, brings in customer pricing and prepares the quote or order for a person to review. It works on top of the ERP the distributor already runs; the reviewed result lands in the ERP, CRM or other system.
The current product is Quote Agent v2, released in September 2026. Requests reach it through a dedicated agent mailbox per company, the web app, the REST API or the MCP server, and the app is available in English, Finnish, Swedish, German and Italian. What does ERP Agent do?
- Reads requests from email bodies and attachments: PDF (including scanned PDFs), Excel, CSV, Word, images and forwarded emails.
- Each customer company gets its own agent mailbox; reps forward requests there or paste them into the web app.
- Identifies the right products in the distributor’s own catalogue from abbreviations, dimensions, materials, technical descriptions, part numbers and customer codes, and keeps the original request next to each proposed match.
- Works across languages: a request in one language is matched against a catalogue in another.
- Checks the attributes a line states (size, voltage, rating class) and pushes down candidates that contradict them.
- Brings in customer pricing from the data and rules configured for the company; the team can review and edit prices before sending.
- Every line carries a match score from 0 to 100; lines under 80 are marked for review. Open a line to read the agent’s reasoning or take an alternative product.
- Quote chat: add or remove rows and change quantities, prices or other details; every proposed edit is approved or rejected line by line. The agent cannot send anything on its own.
- A person reviews by default before anything is written to the ERP, CRM or other system.
- Learns from the lines the team sends: the next time a customer writes the same thing, it picks the same product.
- Prepares either a quote or a sales order.
- Supplier side: compares supplier order confirmations with the purchase order line by line, and turns material certificates into structured data.
