Five differences you can check in a demo
- A request line with no article number. Workist describes its process as extracting a document’s data and validating customers, items, pricing conditions and delivery addresses against your ERP master data. Its order entry software page says that when the AI is unsure, “for example because an article number is missing, it asks your team for help”. ERP Agent treats the missing number as the normal case. It reads “15mm copper elbow end feed” as a 15 mm end-feed elbow and finds it in your catalogue, ahead of the solder-ring version. When a line states EI60, 24 V or DN50, products rated EI30, 230 V or DN40 drop down the list.
- The lines to check are marked in the draft. Workist’s Business Central page says that when something is unclear, “the agent asks instead of guessing”. In ERP Agent the unclear line is already in the draft your rep is reviewing. Every line carries a match score and the agent’s reasoning, for example “The 230 V version was pushed down. No model named, so marked for review.” Lines under 80 are marked, and N jumps to the next one.
- Fixing a wrong line takes one key. Workist’s order entry software page says that when the AI does not know whether a data extraction is correct, “your team provides manual feedback”. In ERP Agent that feedback is a keypress. When more than one product could fit, the line already carries up to three runner-ups from your catalogue, each with its own match score, unit price and line total. Press 1, 2 or 3 to swap, 0 to go back to the agent’s pick, or A to run a fresh search for that line.
- Quote requests and tenders in every plan. Workist describes itself as “an AI agent for B2B order automation”, and on its pricing page the Core package covers orders only: inquiries start from the Professional package. ERP Agent always covers quote requests, tenders and sales orders. The rep picks quote or sales order for each request, and the same product identification runs either way. See AI quote automation.
- Your whole team, with no user cap. Workist’s Core package includes 3 users and its Professional package 5. Every ERP Agent customer gets unlimited users: sales reps, customer service, buyers and admins all log in. The monthly price is set by your line volume alone, so adding a colleague never changes the bill.
Workist vs ERP Agent, side by side
The Workist column uses Workist’s own order entry software, Business Central and pricing pages.
| Workist | ERP Agent | |
|---|---|---|
| The line says “15mm copper elbow end feed” and has no article number | When the AI is unsure, “for example because an article number is missing, it asks your team for help” | Finds the end-feed elbow from size and type, checks the stated attributes and scores the match 0–100 |
| The agent is not sure about a line | “When something’s unclear, the agent asks instead of guessing” | The line is marked in the draft with its score and the reason; N jumps to the next marked line |
| The proposed product is wrong | “Your team provides manual feedback” | Up to three ranked alternatives on the line, with price and line total; keys 1–3 swap, A searches again |
| A customer asks for a quote, not an order | The Core package covers orders only; inquiries start from the Professional package | Quote requests, tenders and sales orders are included for every customer; the rep picks quote or order per request |
| Eight people in your team handle requests | Core includes 3 users, Professional 5 | Unlimited users for every customer |
| How it is sold | Annual subscription in three packages by documents per year, with a 12-month minimum contract | A setup fee and a monthly subscription set by line volume alone; users and document types are never extra (pricing) |
What your rep does with a 40-line request in ERP Agent
All of this happens in ERP Agent’s review screen, and every step works from the keyboard.
The draft fills in while you watch
Lines appear in the table as the agent matches them. Requests with several hundred lines are split into batches that run in parallel.
Go straight to the marked lines
Press N to jump to the next line under 80. The customer’s original wording sits next to the proposed product, with the agent’s reason for choosing it.
Swap with one key
Press 1, 2 or 3 to take a stored alternative, and see the new price and line total at once. Press A when you want the agent to search that line again.
Change the rest by typing
In quote chat, type “line 4 should be the 230 V version, and add 10 wall plugs”. The agent searches your catalogue and shows each change as before and after, such as “#4 unit price 7.49 € → 7.95 €”. Keep or reject each one. The chat cannot send anything.
Send, and it learns
Send to your ERP with “Final — send and learn”. The next time a customer writes the same thing, the agent picks the same product. Nobody writes a rule.
Example: an enquiry in the customer’s own words
An enquiry to a building services merchant mixes shorthand, sizes, ratings and the customer’s own code. None of the lines carries your article number. Prices are left out; in a real draft they come from the customer’s terms.
“Can you quote the below for the Leeds site, usual terms? Need it next week.”
- 12 x spiral duct 250 dia 3m
- 4 x fire damper 600x300 EI60
- 4 x 24V actuator for the dampers
- 30 x 15mm copper elbow end feed
- 10 x our ref VNT-220
| Request line | Proposed product | Qty | Match | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| spiral duct 250 dia 3m | Spiral duct Ø250, galvanised, 3000 mm | 12 | 95 | “250 dia” read as Ø250, in the 3 m standard length. |
| fire damper 600x300 EI60 | Fire damper 600×300, EI60 | 4 | 91 | Size and fire rating as stated; EI30 and E-class dampers pushed down. |
| 24V actuator for the dampers | Damper actuator 24 V, for 600×300 dampers | 4 | 76 | Marked: no model named. The 230 V version was pushed down; two other 24 V actuators are alternatives 1 and 2. |
| 15mm copper elbow end feed | End feed elbow 90°, copper, 15 mm | 30 | 93 | “End feed” separates it from the solder ring version. |
| our ref VNT-220 | Supply grille 400×200, white | 10 | 98 | The customer’s own code, learned from an earlier quote. |
Illustrative example: products, codes and scores are invented to show what the review screen explains on each line.

Why the product decision is the part that matters
Reading the fields off a PDF is the easy half of a quote request. The slow half is deciding which of your products each line means when the customer writes shorthand, gives dimensions in their own format or uses their own code. According to our case study, a sales rep spends on average 4–7 minutes per line when creating quotes and orders by hand (calculate your cost).
On a quote request, a line without your article number is not an exception to hand to a colleague; it is most of the lines. ERP Agent makes the product decision for every one of them, shows how sure it is, and leaves your rep a one-key fix when it is wrong. See how ERP Agent automates quotes.
How to test it on your own requests
You can run ERP Agent on real requests before any integration work begins.
Send your catalogue
A catalogue file is enough to start; past quotes help it learn faster.
Forward real requests
Your company gets its own agent mailbox. Reps forward customer requests there or paste them into the web app, and a typical request is ready for review in 3–8 minutes.
Count the lines that come back right
Pick the requests with no article numbers at all, plus scans, long lists and other brands’ part numbers. Our pilot checklist shows how to set up a fair trial.
Connect your ERP
We set up the connection to Business Central, SAP, NetSuite or your other ERP or CRM during onboarding. Reviewed quotes and orders then land in the system your team already uses.
