Who is LVI-WaBeK?
LVI-WaBeK is a building services wholesaler in Finland. LVI is the Finnish trade term for heating, plumbing and ventilation: the trades a UK plumbing and heating merchant or an HVAC wholesaler serves.
What does one quote line take in building services wholesale?
Installers, contractors and property maintenance teams send enquiries as emails, spreadsheets, PDFs and Word files, in their own words rather than the wholesaler’s product names. Before a quote can go out, every line has to become one catalogue item at that customer’s price.
| The customer writes | What has to be worked out |
|---|---|
| “composite pipe 16 coil” | Which item matches the size, and which coil length to quote when the catalogue carries several manufacturers and lengths. |
| “floor drain low 50 plastic” | Which model is the low-profile one and fits the stated outlet size. |
| “manifold 6-zone with actuators” | Which voltage the actuators need (24 V or 230 V), and whether they go on lines of their own. |
| A manufacturer’s part number | Which of the wholesaler’s own items it corresponds to. |
| The customer’s own code or name | What the customer means by it. Often only an experienced salesperson knows. |
The rows are illustrative examples. The same lookup and pricing repeats on every line of every request, and that is exactly the work quote automation takes over.
How the agent prepares each quote
At LVI-WaBeK, the agent matches the catalogue items, brings in pricing and prepares the offer for the sales team. Here is how ERP Agent handles each step.
Read the request
The agent reads the email and its attachments: PDF (scanned files too), Excel, CSV, Word and images. Requests arrive through the company’s own agent mailbox or the web app, so customers keep sending enquiries exactly as they do today.
Identify the right products
Each line is matched to a product in the wholesaler’s own catalogue from abbreviations, dimensions, materials, technical descriptions, part numbers and customer codes. Candidates that contradict a stated size, voltage or rating are pushed down, and the customer’s original line stays next to the proposed product. The request and the catalogue do not even need to be in the same language.
Bring in customer pricing
Prices come from the data and rules configured for the company, so the draft carries the customer’s own pricing. The salesperson can review and edit any price before sending.
Prepare the quote for the sales team
The result is a draft quote, line by line, ready for a salesperson to review. Nothing reaches the customer without the team’s approval.
What does the salesperson do?
At LVI-WaBeK, the salesperson checks the proposal, handles the customer’s requirements and completes the quote.
ERP Agent keeps that check focused. Every line carries a match score from 0 to 100, and lines under 80 are marked for review, so attention goes where judgement is needed. Opening a line shows the agent’s reasoning, and an alternative product is one click away. In the quote chat, the salesperson adds or removes rows and changes quantities or prices, approving or rejecting each proposed edit line by line.
The customer’s requirements stay with the salesperson, where they belong. In building services wholesale these are typically project terms, a preferred brand, a substitution the customer has to agree to, or delivery. Completing the quote means the salesperson approves it before anything is written to the ERP, CRM or other system.
ERP Agent also learns from the lines the team sends: the next time a customer writes the same thing, it picks the same product. What experienced salespeople know stays in the company, and new salespeople get up to speed on choices their colleagues have already confirmed.

What changed for the sales team?
At LVI-WaBeK, ERP Agent automates quote lines with over 95% accuracy. This has freed the sales team to focus on customer relationships.
In a wholesaler’s sales team, that is time for the work only a salesperson can do: calling a customer back, following up an open quote, talking through the next project.
Put your own requests to the test
The clearest way to see what ERP Agent does for your team is to run it on requests your team has already quoted and compare the result line by line. Our quote agent pilot checklist sets out how.
Built for wholesalers like LVI-WaBeK
ERP Agent is the first agentic AI layer for wholesale distribution ERP systems. It is built for sales teams that:
- Receive requests as emails and attachments, written in the customer’s own words.
- Quote from a large catalogue, where every line needs the right item at that customer’s price.
- Want salespeople to keep the final say on what goes to the customer.
- Serve the building services trades, as an HVAC wholesaler, a plumbing and heating merchant, a pipe fittings distributor or an electrical wholesaler.
Why getting started is easy
- Works on top of your ERP. No replacement project: your ERP stays the system of record, and approved quotes land in your ERP, CRM or other system.
- Any ERP system. ERP Agent integrates with Business Central, SAP, NetSuite, Visma, IFS, Sage and any other ERP or CRM, and we set up the connection for your company during onboarding; see ERP and email integrations.
- Start with a catalogue file. Your team can begin the same week and connect the ERP when you are ready.
- Your team stays in control. Nothing reaches a customer without approval.
- Built for catalogue quoting. Where a CPQ configurator builds one made-to-order product, ERP Agent goes through every line of a request and identifies the right items in your catalogue, even in a request of several hundred lines. See CPQ vs AI quote automation.
- GDPR-compliant. Models run with zero data retention, and before setup we agree which data the agent needs and which systems it can access. See security and data.
